Apprenticeship: Industrial mechanic (m/f/d)

Industrial mechanics organise and monitor production processes and ensure that machines and production systems are ready for operation. They build machines or entire production systems, install and network them and put them into operation. If their focus is on production technology, they set up machines, convert them and control production processes. The maintenance and repair of production facilities and technical systems is also part of their tasks. To do this, they select test equipment, determine the causes of faults and replace defective components or wearing parts, check bearings and tighten screws, for example. If necessary, they also manufacture spare parts themselves using CNC machines. They also hand over technical systems and products to customers and instruct them in their operation.

As a prospective industrial mechanic, it is helpful to have certain requirements:
